Welcome to the Incipient College of St Kessog.
Welcome to the Incipient College of St Kessog, wherein you may step back in time
to fight with chivalry, dance with grace, feast with gusto or pursue the divers
activities that enriched the Middle Ages and Renaissance.
St Kessog is based at the University of Otago, Dunedin, in the South Island
of New Zealand and is a branch of the international non-profit educational
organisation, the Society for Creative
Anachronism (SCA). The College is currently dormant, due to a lack of student members, however there remains in Dunedin a half-dozen or so keen Scadians who would be most pleased to answer your enquiries and meet with you.
The SCA is dedicated to the research and recreation of pre-17th century
European history, with a particular focus on its practical applications in arts
and sciences, including costuming, cooking, martial arts, dance, calligraphy
and illumination, metalwork, archery, music and much, much more.
To get involved contact Myrun, our former Seneschal,

Who was St Kessog?
Before St Andrew, there was St Kessog, first patron saint of Scotland. His
symbol of a bent bow signifies a readiness for action at all times, very
appropriate for a warrior Celtic race. More on St Kessog here.
